The music styles featured on "Facets" are drumfunk, drum and bass (dnb), and minimal dnb.
Facets continues the PCMS tradition of various artist drum and bass LPs. Like The Painting Space and Vector Space, the word facets, as sides of an object, requires, in a geometric sense, a space to exist. Each track is a different style ranging from minimal and ambient dnb up to drumfunk and from synthetic rhythms to intricately sequenced live drumming.
The album concludes with A Cosmic Gift's mellow guitar melodies and breakbeats filtered down to wisps of sound.
